HB 47

LC0334
Carolyn Pease-Lopez
Appropriate money for youth crisis diversion pilot projects

3 comments:

  1. Sent the following to Representatives Dudik and Tschida:

Missoula County supports House Bill 47 - Appropriate money for youth crisis diversion pilot projects, before House Appropriations this afternoon. The services through these projects provide urgent, in home support to youth and families in crisis and bypass current barriers such as insurance and diagnosis restrictions. The cost of providing short term community based response is significantly less than the cost of sending youth to hospitals, residential treatment centers, and detention and the project supplements existing services allowing other professionals and agencies to use their resources more efficiently. Please support HB 47.
    Respectfully,
Vickie Zeier on behalf of the Missoula County Commissioners
