Representative ,
Missoula County supports House Bill 6 – Provide for renewable resource grants -on the House floor this afternoon. HB 6 includes funding for a number of important projects in Missoula County including for the Buena Vista Trailer Community which will allow the residents to abandon their non-functioning, no treatment lagoon system and connect them to a centralized professionally managed collection and treatment system. HB 6 also includes funding for restoration in the Mill Creek system that would improve stream stability, fish passage and habitat. Finally, HB 6 provides funding for biological weed control coordination for the state, ensuring that biological control insects will be distributed and established across the state to help private and public land managers mitigate the economic and environmental damage caused by invasive noxious weeks like spotted knapweed and leafy spurge. Please support HB 7 and the Missoula County projects supported therein.
Respectfully,
Vickie Zeier on behalf of the Missoula County Commissioners
