HB 296

LC0520
Pat Noonan

Revise laws regarding mutual aid frequency coordination

1 comment:

  1. Missoula County opposes this bill in its current draft and believes it should be amended. Missoula County recognizes the need for the state to coordinate Mutual Aide Frequencies but believes local government and responders should coordinate local resources. The Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) is all ready charged under federal law to coordinate radio frequencies and this system is currently in use in Montana and works. Missoula County would like to see like line 17 on page 3 left with the original language already in Statute.
