HB 306

LC1020
Jennifer Eck

Revise unemployment insurance benefits for victims of domestic violence

  1. Sent to Senator Facey:

Missoula County supports House Bill 306 – Revise unemployment insurance benefits for victims of domestic violence – before Senate Business, Labor and Economic Affairs this morning as amended. Domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking threaten a person’s health and safety and disrupts every facet of their life, including their employment. Supporting victims of these crimes by ensuring unemployment benefits will help many find a path to freedom from abuse. When victims are financially secure, they can move towards healing rather than just trying to survive from day to day. Please support HB 306.
    Respectfully,
Vickie Zeier on behalf of the Missoula County Commissioners
