Missoula County opposes HB 368 - Sunset voter approved property tax levies after certain period of time - on the House floor this afternoon. This bill will negatively impact smaller mill levy programs that do not have the financial capacity or staff resources to be continually advertising their work after a mill levy has been on the ballot. Voter approved mill levies in Missoula County include the Substance Abuse Prevention levy, search and rescue levies, and Missoula Aging Services. Please oppose HB 368.
