HB 498

LC1611
Kathleen Williams

Provide for consumer opt-out provisions to prevent surprise medical bills

  1. Bill affects medical services that exceed $500 for a single course of treatment. Currently, PHC has very few services that would exceed this threshold. For the services that do exceed $500, such as prenatal OB, we communicate those costs to the PT via a services contract.
