"This [bill] mostly deals with State oriented systems, I however can support this section. I have found in during my time with Missoula County that finding the right person to help you with your issue or provide information is very difficult at times.
Having a more cohesive IT organization at the State level would greatly aid in the delivery of services to local governments. I also support bringing more centralized control to the State CIO to allow for better coordination of systems, purchasing, and support. Also, State information technology systems are developed in cooperation with the federal government and tribal and local governments with the objective of providing seamless access to information and services to the greatest degree possible."
