  2. Sent to Senators Sands, Larsen and Fielder:

Missoula County supports Senate Bill 115 - Generally revise laws related to boarding animals subject to court proceedings, before Senate Judiciary this afternoon and we thank Senator Facey for carrying the bill. SB 115 would assist Missoula City-County Animal Control immensely in offsetting burdensome animal care costs when animals have been seized due to a cruelty case or an investigation. The costs associated with properly caring for these animals of all sizes during this often long process adversely impacts our budget, dwindles our reserves and hinders our ability to care for other animals in our shelter. Please support SB 115.

    Respectfully,
Vickie Zeier on behalf of the Missoula County Commissioners
