Generally revise building code program laws

  1. Greg Robertson on Jan. 21, 2015: Missoula County is "supportive of the bill. It will allow cities and towns to accumulate a reserve. This will have the effect of potentially moderating changes in fees due to the cyclical nature of the building industry. It will also reduce the cost of managing the program by eliminating a redundant audit."

    Missoula County supports House Bill 224 - Generally revise building code program laws, before House Local Government this afternoon. HB 224 allows local governments to accumulate a reserve which will potentially moderate changes in fees due to the cyclical nature of the building industry. The bill also reduces the cost of managing the program by eliminating a redundant audit. Please support HB 224.
